Top Nigerian artistes like Burna Boy, Davido, and Qing Madi are set to drop fresh albums in 2025, reshaping the Afrobeats scene.

A number of Nigerian artistes wasted no time announcing their albums in Q1 of 2025, with the likes of Kizz Daniel, Magixx, Burna Boy, Davido, and Qing Madi taking the lead.
It is expected that the album releases will also be followed by a global concert to further promote their latest works of art.
Here is a sample of the artistes ready with fresh sounds:
Burna Boy (No Sign of Weakness)
The Grammy Award winner, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, is set to release his album very soon for the listening pleasure of music lovers around the world.
His eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness, has further catapulted him as one of the leading Afrobeats stars in Nigeria.
Davido (5IVE)
After enjoying huge success in 2024 with some of his hit songs, Davido is already setting tongues wagging with a blockbuster album in 2025, titled 5IVE.
5IVE was slated for release in March 2025, with guest features such as YG Marley, Chike, and ODUMODUBLVCK.

Kizz Daniel (Uncle K)
The multi-award-winning Afrobeats sensation is expected to release his album in a matter of weeks following the success of his four-track EP, TZA, and his chart-topping single, Marhaba.
This will mark the beginning of what promises to be an electrifying concert series, with additional tour dates and locations to be announced soon.
Magixx (I Dream in Colour)
Singer Magixx announced himself in the mainstream in 2021 with his self-titled debut EP, which featured the hit record Love Don’t Cost a Dime.
The singer, one of the most exciting voices in Nigerian music, released his debut album in February 2025, titled I Dream in Colour.
Qing Madi (The Blueprint)
After the successful run of her self-titled EP and many hit singles, Qing Madi has had an amazing year. And what better way to keep the fire burning in the new year than releasing her debut album, The Blueprint?
The album, expected on 31st January 2025, will consist of 13 tracks, with lead singles such as Goosebumps, Favourite Psycho, and Akanchawa.
