Four good days, from March 27th to 30th, were the memorable gifts to lovers of documentary films from the I Represent International Documentary Festival (iRep) in Lagos.
It was the festival’s 14th edition in its 15-year glorious run as the foremost event dedicated to documentaries in West Africa.
From the first two days at the enchanting Mike Adenuga Centre (Alliance Française) in Ikoyi, to the last two days at the boisterous Freedom Park on Broad Street, Lagos, filmgoers had enough to savour.
Obviously, for their consistency, not a few would have asked the team behind the festival—Femi Odugbemi, Jahman Anikulapo, Ilemakin Soyinka, Theo Lawson, and Prof. Awam Amkpa—to take a bow.
Here, the arty lenses of TOJ capture beautiful faces and moments at the festival.
