Alma Asinobi fell short of the Guinness World Record but proved that courage and self-belief can push limits.

Nigerian travel content creator, Alma Asinobi, will hold her head high for displaying courage and self-belief despite failing to break the Guinness World Record for the fastest journey across all seven continents.
A visa hitch or delay halted her ambitious attempt to reach Sydney, Australia within the required time.
Reaching 63 hours, 54 minutes, and 33 seconds, Asinobi fell short of the current record of 64 hours, set in February 2025 by American veteran Johnny Cruz Buckingham.
“I wanted to inspire people to face their fears and not let uncontrollable limitations hold them back.”
However, that has not dented her pride in attempting to set her own Guinness World Record.
Travelling from one country to another will enrich Asinobi’s travel experience and open doors to future engagements.
Asinobi, who arrived in Nigeria earlier in March 2025, had hoped to inspire people to confront their fears and not let limitations beyond their control stand in their way—just as she took on a challenge beyond her reality, control, and limitations.
